ELEVATE is Trimont’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) council. It serves as an advisory board dedicated to actioning our core value of inclusivity. ELEVATE supports Trimont DEI initiatives, while advocating and sponsoring organizational change focused on equity and inclusion.

ELEVATE’s mission is to create a space of inclusion by encouraging diversity in thought, action, and leadership, while having dedication to equity, through active sponsorship in advancing diverse talent within Trimont.

Inclusive Language

At Trimont, we understand the importance of inclusive language. All job descriptions aim to provide clarity and transparency in responsibilities between roles. Each job description undergoes three rounds of auditing to ensure inclusivity, authenticity, and transparency. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all current and future team members.

DEI Learning Program: Building Awareness

Trimont has yearly DEI learning programs including last years’ which focused on raising awareness and understanding of mindsets that form into biases. These sessions provided tools to manage sensitive conversations, offered insights on true allyship and taught how to create an inclusive environment. This program is an example of our commitment to continuous learning and growth in the realm of diversity and inclusion.

Cultural Heritage Celebrations: Honoring Diversity

Trimont has a curated DEI Cultural Heritage Calendar of events, celebrating almost 20 cultural heritages across four regions. These educational events are designed to honor and educate our team about the rich diversity within our organization, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

Our Trimont Resource Groups (TRGs) are essential to achieving a culture of belonging. These voluntary, employee-led groups bring together individuals with shared demographics, interests, or goals. They serve as a platform for camaraderie and support, strengthening the bonds among team members and enhancing our collective success.

Striving for Equity: Trimont Giving Council


This council is made up of team members dedicated to organizing and supporting our philanthropic efforts, ensuring that we give back to the communities where we live and work. The Giving Council collaborates with team member-nominated and vetted charitable organizations, coordinating volunteer opportunities and donation drives. Each quarter, Trimont donates USD 50,000 split evenly amongst five carefully selected charities.
