David Nolan

Chief Security Officer

As Chief Security Officer, David Nolan is responsible for leading Trimont’s global security posture, managing information security, regulatory compliance, risk management, incident response, physical security, and security awareness training. He serves on the group’s executive management committee and risk committee. He also chairs the security steering committee which oversees the adherence and governance of security at Trimont.

David has more than 25 years of executive and technical experience in cybersecurity, risk, and information technology across multiple industries. Prior to joining Trimont in 2026, he served as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Asurion with additional previous leadership roles at The Aaron’s Company and Caterpillar Inc.

Recognized as a trusted voice in the cybersecurity community, David is a frequent keynote speaker and thought leader. He has presented at industry-leading events, including the (ISC)² Security Congress, ISSA, and ISACA conferences, and has been featured on top cybersecurity podcasts. David also contributes his expertise as an advisor and board member to multiple industry associations, universities, and non-profit organizations, contributing his knowledge to the next generation of security and technology leaders.
