Mitchell Hunter

President

As President, Mitchell is responsible for growing and facilitating our business and affecting positive change. He focuses on driving new business opportunities, overseeing both the client services and relationship management teams. Mitchell also manages defeasance, change management and oversees research and marketing efforts, ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative.

He brings more than 27 years of experience to his role and serves on Trimont’s Executive Management and Credit Committees. Mitchell is an active thought leader and speaker on panels at industry conferences and events.

Mitchell previously served as President of the Americas where he focused on our core business lines for the region. He has also led Trimont’s non-performing/special servicing team along with various positions within the performing credit and asset management department. He was instrumental in building Trimont’s nonperforming group in the early 2000’s with an emphasis on construction resolutions. Prior to joining Trimont in 1999, he spent five years in the banking industry as a consumer and commercial lender.
